The Swiss Personalized Health Network (SPHN) initiative and the Personalized Health and Related Technologies (PHRT) program, which come to their end in December 2024, jointly organized the "Data for Health" symposium in Bern on 31 October to showcase the achievements and envision the future Swiss health research data ecosystem.

The Swiss FEGA project was nicely represented at this event, with Dr Mark Ibberson (Director of SIB’s Computational Biology group Vital-IT leading the Swiss FEGA project) who was invited to give a short talk. During his presentation, he gave an overview of the federated European Genome-phenome Archive network and objectives, the specificities to establish the Swiss node, the partners involved in the project and the key milestones until end 2025.
